Professor Beatriz Arranz Arranz, from the Madrid School of Architecture, participated as a speaker at the International Conference on Architecture and Circular Economy, held on 17 October 2025 at the School of Architecture of the University of Valladolid.

Together with Marina Iguaz Ramos, she presented the paper “Design for the Disassembly of CLT Construction Systems”, focusing on the application of design-for-disassembly principles to construction systems based on Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT). The research demonstrates how incorporating disassembly criteria from the earliest stages of the design process can facilitate the separation, recovery, and reuse of building components at the end of their service life.
